Originally issued with the company's 'Park Drive Cigarettes,' which are mentioned on the back, these cards feature colour pictures of well-known actors and actresses including Mae West, Greta Garbo, Bing Crosby, Joan Crawford, Merle Oberon, Claudette Colbert, Katharine Hepburn, Jean Harlow, Maurice Chevalier, Tallulah Bankhead, Gracie Fields, Norma Shearer, Anna Neagle, Raymond Massey, Myrna Loy, Carole Lombard, Charles Laughton, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Clark Gable and Marlene Dietrich. The red text on the reverse is full of information about the stars. These were printed by E.S & A Robinson of Bristol who also printed a small print run with blue backs and no brand name for distribution with other Gallaher cigarettes which were available with two different types of back one with "Gallaher's Cigarettes" and the other with "issued by Gallaher Ltd". A lovely set for any collection with cards size 63 x 37mm.
